Happy International Womens Day to all you incredible Women reading this.
Yesterday I had the honour of speaking about relationships and sharing part of my story for #InternationalWomensDay.
What an inspiring afternoon raising awareness and funds for the wonderful St Peter & St James Charitable Trust. It was a pleasure to meet Kathryn O’Donnell and Emma Cleary, and spend time with such thoughtful, passionate women.
I was especially blown away by the female firefighters who spoke so openly about their experiences. Despite the progress that has been made, there is still a long way to go for equality. Their honesty and resilience were incredibly humbling.
A powerful reminder of how important community, connection and supporting one another really is.
In honour of the charity’s incredible work, our talented local artist Amelia Jay is raffling one of her beautiful paintings worth over £200.
🎨 Tickets are just £3, with all proceeds going to St Peter & St James Hospice, supporting families at the most important times of their lives.
